Black Heritage Walks Network is a group that highlights the historical and modern-day achievements of the African-Caribbean community in and around Britain. The network has researched and created a series of black heritage trails across the West Midlands.
We aim:
• To document migration stories and achievements of the black community in the UK, in particular, the post-war African Caribbean community.
• To inform and educate local communities about the contribution of the black community within the UK
• To encourage tourism within the highlighted places of interest

Pre Booking is essential Suitable clothing Although some of the routes are not strenuous, please be aware that surfaces may be uneven and could be slippery when wet. We strongly recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather with warm/waterproof clothing and comfortable footwear. For your safety Please take care when crossing busy roads and always use the designated crossings where indicated. Please be aware of other road users and pedestrians, particularly by leaving space on pavements for people to cross safely. Please remember to bring a bottle of water.
